Making a Quotation

Making a quotation could not be easier. Just browse our catalogue, and add any items that you wish to have a quote for into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'CHECKOUT' and you will be asked for a few more details that we need to be able to complete the quotation.

If you want to place an order for the selected parts, please email us quoting the quotation number. If you need to open an account with us, just let us have your full company name and address, delivery address if different, your company registration number, your VAT registration number, the Managing Director's name and your Bank sort code and account number.

We also accept credit card payment over the phone such as Visa and Mastercard. (see Privacy Policy).

We do not charge for any item until it is ready to be shipped. Backordered items are not charged until they are ready to be shipped. In any event, being a manufacturing company, we do not request payment from you until we have confirmed with you the order details, specifications and delivery times in a separate order acknowledgement.

When you receive an automated e-mail confirmation of a quotation it will mentioned on there that it is a quotation only. It does not mean a binding contract exists between us. If you want us to regard the quotation as an order please email us quoting the Quotation Number and provide us with a written order confirmation. We shall contact you and confirm your request and shall send you an order ackowledgement once all the technical requirements have been aggreed.

We have included this term to protect both parties in case a mistake has been made in specification or pricing or we are no longer able to supply a particular product. In the case of a change of price quoted on our web site, we shall always contact you first to ensure that the new price is acceptable.

Shipping

The products are packed and shipped ex factory Basildon. Delivery shall be charged for unless mentioned otherwise in the price list or price section of this catalogue. Always confirm the final delivery charges with CMR CONTROLS LTD..

Delivery Schedule

When you have placed an order, we deliver your order as soon as possible. We will send you an acknowledgement with the estimated delivery time if the products are not in stock.

You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number and our reference number in all correspondence.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, your order shall be in line for delivery as soon as it is ready for despatch. You will always be contacted with the delivery time information.

Tax Charges

For orders to be invoiced and shipped within the UK 20% VAT is added.

For any other destination within the EU we need your VAT Number and full company details to be exempt.
If this information is not supplied 20% VAT is added to the order value.

All other destinations outside the EU are VAT free if we can prove that the goods have been exported from UK to that destination. Our Invoices shall have our VAT number and the Intrastat Numbers and Commodity Codes for your records.

Credit Card Security

The web site produces only quotations. If you place an order by contacting our sales office and you have elected to pay by Credit Card over the phone, all card details are destroyed after the transaction and no records are kept by CMR CONTROLS LTD order process offices.

Guarantee

We guarantee your satisfaction. All of our products come with a 12 months guarantee starting from the date of Invoice. In case of a guarantee claim, please contact us quoting the invoice number and serial no of the items and request a returns authorisation.

We shall either repair or sent you new equipment. We shall not pay for labour on site to remove or reinstall the product.

Returns Policy

Your rights to return goods are protected under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.

In any event, it needs a goods return note authorisation from CMR CONTROLS LTD to do so. If a mistake has been made in ordering or the goods are no longer required a re-stocking charge is normally applicable of 20% of the goods value provided the goods have returned in as new condition.

Remittance Terms

If the goods are sold on open account the payment terms shall apply. In any event, an account must be opened and this would required your full company name, registered office address and operations address and the company registration and VAT numbers of your company. Otherwise the terms are 'Payment before shipment ex works' with a Pro-Forma Invoice.
