CMR is the manufacturer and designer of the popular Veloprobes. All veloprobes are made to measure. They are made completely of stainless steel which means, measuring sensor pipe, connection nipples and flanges and can be supplied for small ducts from 200 to 450mm with single sided flanges. For large ducts goto VPS-A type A veloprobes up to 2900mm long. L = 450 means the dimension from the inside of trhe flange to the end of the probe. The flange can be adjusted. The probes are made in 50mm increments so that they can be insulated by the lagger to not to be exposed to condensation.

The veloprobes are easily installed in new or retro-fit installations and only two 26 mm holes have to be cut into the duct on one side so that the veloprobes can be mounted in the air stream to provide a differential pressure. The probes can be fitted in any position except after a controlling damper or a duct T- Piece.

The veloprobes can be turned within the flange to adjust to suit the direction of airflow. As an optional extra, the veloprobes can be made in welded construction with compression fittings to suit high temperatures and nuclear applications. They can also be epoxy, Teflon or PUR coated.
