Air Probe Plates - Veloprobes - Velogrids - Venturis and Duct Probes for Air Volume measurement
Air Probe Plate
The Air Probe Plates are manufactured by CMR and have a variety of designs. The picture shows the most popular ceiling or wall air probe plate which terminates the tubing from the room side to the measuring transmitter. The probes are made of stainless steel or plastic and have up to three connections. One connection for the controlling sensor, one connection for the monitoing sensor and one connection for a commissioning manometer to compare the readings during calibration. The CMR colour coded tube is installed via the mezzanine floor and pushed onto the plastic bulkhead and then the plate is fixed to the ceiling with silicone to make it air tight. Engraving with the clients Tag Number shall be provided by CMR. There are stainless steel ceiling probes either standard or custom design as well as long ceiling probes which can be fixed to the mezzanine top floor and reach to the room. All probes are custom made to measure by CMR for any application.
CMR is the manufacturer and designer of the popular Veloprobes. All veloprobes are made to measure. They are made of stainless steel and can be supplied for ducts up to 3 x 3m. Larger ducts can be accomodated by using larger diameter pipe on request. The veloprobes are easily installed in new or retro-fit installations and only four 26mm holes have to be drilled into the duct so that the veloprobes can be mounted in the air stream to provide a differential pressure. The probes can be fitted in any position except after a controlling damper or a duct T- Piece. The veloprobes can be turned within the flange to adjust to suit the direction of airflow. The veloprobes can be made in welded construction with compression fittings to suit high temperatures and nuclear applications. They can be epoxy or Teflon coated or supplied in PPs Plastic.
CMR is the manufacturer and designer of the Velogrid which consists of a duct frame made to measure in any dimensions in increments of 50mm height and width. The factory fitted Veloprobes clamped with the flanges and tubed together to provide an average air velocity measurement. The Velogrids shall be mounted in the air stream to provide a differential pressure via the static air pressure (blue) and the impact pressure (red) ports The velogrid can be fitted in any position except after a controlling damper or a duct T- Junction. The veloprobes can be turned within the flange to adjust to suit the direction of airflow. The velogrid probes can be made in welded construction with compression fittings to suit high temperatures and nuclear applications. They can be epoxy or Teflon coated or supplied in PPs Plastic on special request.
The CMR Venturi air volume measurement devices are manufactured in galvanised sheet metal, stainless steel and PPs Plastic and all have the great advantage that they are factory calibrated and produce a differential pressure which can be used to measure the air volume accurately. They are fitted with a bracket to mount any of the CMR Transmitters. Once the transmitters are connected to the tube connectors on the venturis the display can show linear airflow in m/s, m3/s, m3/h, l/s or ACR airchange rate.
Oval Flowprobes air volume measurement in attenuators
CMR is the manufacturer and designer of the Oval Flowprobes. All Oval Flowrobes are made to measure. They are made of alluminium extrusions and can be supplied for attenuators up to 3m in height or width. The Oval Flowprobes are easily installed in new or retro-fit installations and have special mounting brackets to fit them to the top or bottom of the attenuator passage way to be in the air stream to provide a differential pressure. The probes must be fitted into the attenuator either on the entrance or exit. The Oval Flowprobes can also be made to suit high temperatures with special compression tube connections. They can be epoxy coated for special applications.
CMR is the manufacturer and designer of the Duct Flowprobes. All Duct Flowrobes are made to measure. They are made of alluminium extrusions and can be supplied for ducts or attenuators. The Duct Flowprobes are easily installed in new or retro-fit installations and have a special mounting bracket to fit them on round or oval ducts as well as flat ducts to be in the air stream to provide a differential pressure. The Duct Flowprobes can also be made to suit high temperatures with special tube connections. They can be epoxy coated for better protection.
Total and Static Pressure Air Duct Probe are made of Aluminium with a swaged flange and are designed to withstand high temperatures. There is a straight static probe which can measure simply static pressure either positive or negative. The total pressure probe is bend at the end to 90 degrees to face the air flow to provide an impact pressure. If the static and the total pressure probe is connected to a PS-Pressure Switch then an air volume measurement can be achieved and the switch is capable of alarming an air volume or velocity pressure failure.
