They have been designed for use in pressure and flow monitoring as well as control and the PVC tubing can run up to 200m. The transmitters have a linear to pressure or volume output signals.  | CAL Calibrators with Pressure Generator
The CAL - Calibrators have been designed to calibrate or check CMR pressure transmitters which are installed in the field. The portable battery operated CAL-95 has a built in hand pump to generate the pressure to test the field sensor and to compare the actual measurement of the CAL-95 with the filed transmitter. The calibrator has a backlight to illuminate the display in dark areas. A slow and fast display dampening switch is also provided. There are two purge valves fitted for the positive and negative sensor ports. It has a zero adjustment on the front panel. The calibrator can also be connected to an external power supply which is normally supplied with the CAL-95. A traceable calibration certificate to National and International Standard is supplied. It comes complete with a carrying case and a length of tubing and fittings.

The remote LED display can be connected to the V-Sensor, VP-Sensor, DPM transmitter and APM Alarm monitor. The connection is via modbus and the power supply comes directly from the tranmitters. The displays have also anaologue inputs such as 0-10V or 4-20mA. The scaling can be adjusted via push button switches on the rear of the unit. The display can be used for any application such as pressure, air volume, air velocity, temperature or humidity indication. A buzzer is fitted on the board as well as a mute input. The display is mounted on a stainless steel plate.

A complete range of custom made LED alarm Plates in either 25mm or 50mm squares are manufactured and mounted in stainless steel flush mount plates. The special laser edging instead of deep engraving makes this product ideal for clean rooms. The plates can be washed down and kept particle free. The alarm light plate can be connected to any control which has a 24VAC or DC supply. There are a variety of plates such as a single LED, two way, four way as well as custom manufactured indicators for specific applications. The Air Sensing Probes are of a variety of designs and the picture shows the most popular ceiling or wall air probe which can be connected to the tubing for the measuring transmitter. The probes are made of stainless steel or plastic and have up to three connections. There are also duct probes and air volume measurement multipoint probes for fresh air measurement in louvres as well as Oval Flow probes to be fitted in the passage way of silencers. All probes are custom made to measure by CMR for any application.

 | Veloprobes air flow measurement and flow grids,
CMR is the manufacturer and designer of the popular Veloprobes. All veloprobes are made to measure. They are made of stainless steel and can be supplied for ducts up to 4 x 4m. Larger ducts can be accomodated by using larger diameter pipe. The veloprobes are easily installed in new or retro fit installations and only four 28mm holes have to be drilled into the duct so that the veloprobes can be mounted in the air stream to provide a differential pressure. The probes can be fitted in any position except after a controlling damper or a duct T- Piece. The veloprobes can be turned within the flange to adjust to suit the direction of airflow. The veloprobes can also be made to suit high temperatures, nuclear applications. They can be epoxy coated or supplied in PPs Plastic.

 | Venturi Duct Flow Measuring Probes
The Venturi air volume measurement devices can be manufactured in galvanised sheet metal, stainless steel, PVC and PPs Plastic and all have the great advantage that they are factory cailibrated and produce a differential pressure which can be used to measure the air volume highly accurately. They are fitted with a bracket to mount any of the CMR P-Sensors, V-Sensors, VP-Sensors and APM Alarm Transmitters. Once the transmitters are connected to the tube connectors on the venturis the display can show linear airflow in m/s, m3/s, m3/h, l/s or ACR airchange rate.

The CMR PVC tube is manufacturerd in five colours Blue - Red - Black - White and Yellow. The tube is 8mm ouside diameter and 5mm inside diameter. It is very rugged to be installed on site in standard cable trays. A complete range of T-pieces and straight connectors are available to make a secure and tight tube fitting. The tubing is used substantially in many installations to connect the pressure or velocity pressure to the CMR pressure and volume transmitters. A variety of Silicone tubes are also manufactured.

The DPC range of compact air pressure and air volume controllers are available with or without built in transmitters. Power supplies to drive motorised dampers, venturi valves or fan speed controllers are also built in. PPs Round valves are manufactured with or without Venturi air volume measurement devices and can all be equipped with the CMR medium or fast speed actuators. The fastest Actuator availbale is 1s for 90 degrees. All valves can be fitted with pneumatic actuators. The venturi provides an accurate air volume measurement and is factory calibrated. The dampers are air tight to DIN 1946 Part 4. The valves are stocked without motors and any of the CMR damper motors can be fitted. The picture shows a CMR AST motor which has a rotation speed of 2s for 0-90 degrees and 8NM. This arrangment is the most popular valve arrangement.

Square or Rectangular Air tight Dampers to DIN 1946 Part 4 are manufactured in 10mm height and 10mm width increments and can all be equipped with medium or fast speed actuators. All dampers can also be fitted with pneumatic actuators. The large metal wheels provide a positive damper movement with very little hysteresis ideal for room pressure or air volume control. The dampers are supplied in galvanised sheet metal but can also be made in stainless Steel or galvanised with epoxy coating. The picture shows the AST fast damper actuator which has been designed for very rugged applications where contineous open and close action over a fraction of a degree is required. The gearbox has metal wheels and is housed in permanent high quality grease. The electric motor is a 24VAC synchronous type which rotates the damper in either 2 or 15 seconds for 0-90 degrees. The maxiumum torque is 8NM for 2s, 20NM for 15s and 50NM for 30s motors. A variety of damper actuators are available including ATX pneumatic types.

The PS Pressure switches are manufacured with large diaphragms suitable for very low pressures. The switch makes at more than 13 Pa and breaks below 8 Pa approx. when installed in vertical position with the nipples in down facing position. The switching range is 13 to 500 - 3000 Pa max.adjustable. A single change over switch is standard. The enclosed contruction is IP54 and the open constructions is IP00.Barbed Nipples 6mm or compression fittings with 6mm or 1/4" ferrules are available. An IP65 plastic enclosure is available.
