 | Airtight Heavy Duty Air Control Dampers in Steel
The CMR square or rectangular Air tight Dampers to DIN 1946 Part 4 are manufactured in 10mm height and 10mm width increments and can all be equipped with medium or fast speed actuators. All dampers can also be fitted with pneumatic actuators. The large metal wheels provide a positive damper movement with very little hysteresis ideal for room pressure or air volume control. The dampers are supplied in galvanised sheet metal but can also be made in stainless Steel or galvanised with epoxy coating. The picture shows a galvanised damper fitted with a CMR AST320 motor which has a rotation speed of 15s for 0-90 degrees. The VM.. Series motors can also be fitted which are 0..5s for 0..90 degrees movement at 15NM. The 12mm round shaft can accommodate any other actuators depending on torque and the protection class requirements.

A complete Fume Cupboard control System is manufactured by CMR, which consists of a PPs, PVC, Galvanised or Stainless Steel Valve complete with volume limiting and fast acting actuator. Response time less than 1 second. The units are available also with pneumatic controls. A complete LAMS (Laboratory Air Management System) is standard which includes Make up Air and Fresh Air By-Pass control. The picture shows a CMR compact fume hood controller which is factory built and ready for installation. Simply connect 230V and the communication network as well the remote alarm panel to the fume cupboard and it is ready to operate. The PPs round valves are manufactured with or without Venturi air volume measurement devices and can all be equipped with the CMR medium or fast speed actuators. The fastest Actuator available is 1s for 90 degrees. All valves can be fitted with pneumatic actuators. The venturi provides an accurate air volume measurement and is factory calibrated and any DPC , PV and DPM sensor can be connected. The dampers are air tight to DIN 1946 Part 4. The valves are stocked without motors and any of the CMR damper motors can be fitted. The picture shows a CMR AST308 motor which has a rotation speed of 3.7s for 0-90 degrees and 8NM. Other speeds are AST320 with 15s for 0..90 degrees at 20NM.

The CMR round valves are manufactured of galvanised sheet metal and are supplied with or without venturi air volume measurement device. They can all be equipped with the CMR medium or fast speed actuators. The fastest Actuator available is 2s for 90 degrees. All valves can be fitted with pneumatic actuators. The venturi air volume measurement devices provide an accurate air volume measurement and are factory calibrated. The valves are air tight to DIN 1946 Part 4 and are available also in stainless steel or galvanised sheet metal epoxy coated. The picture shows a Venturi Valve with an AST320 actuator which has a rotation speed of 15s for 0-90 degrees. This is the most popular valve for constant air volume control applications and it worlks in conjunction with the DPC controller.

The fastest electric Actuator available is 1s for 90 degrees. All valves can be fitted with pneumatic actuators. The valves are air tight to DIN 1946 Part 4 and are available also in stainless steel or galvanised sheet metal epoxy coated. The picture shows a Control Valve with a CMR AST320 actuator. Any actuator can be fitted to achieve a variety of rotation speeds.

 | Mechanical Constant Volume Valves
The CMR round mechanical constant air volume valves are manufactured of galvanised sheet metal and are supplied ready for installation. The air volume set point can be adjusted via an indicating dial or they can be supplied factory calibrated for the correct air volume. There is a built in shock absorber which eliminates any air turbulance bouncing of the mechanical air volume control damper. The shock absorber provides clean air volume flow at all times. The minimum back pressure is 50 Pa and the maximum is 1000 Pa. If a constant volume has been adjusted to 500m3/h and the operating pressure is 250 Pa and the pressure changes suddenly to 1000 Pa, the valve would adjust instantly to always provide 500 m3/h regardless of the changing back pressure. A motor driven unit is available to change the set point from remote which is ideal if a variable volume control is to be achieved. The motor would be the VM..series which can be ued also in conjunction with the DPC controller.
